Vivaldi's Winter-6th grade Symphony in Color Competition

"Each year, more than 35,000 elementary school children throughout Indiana participate in Symphony in Color, an enrichment program offering a unique blending of two disciplines: symphonic music and visual art."

Irvington Community Middle School 6th graders participated in The Indianpolis Symphony Orchestra's 'Symphony in Color' contest this past winter. The contest was judged by The Hilbert Circle Theatre and The Indiana State Museum. 100 finalists and 36 blue ribbons were chosen out of many submissions from across Indiana.

I'm proud to say that Irvington Community Middle School is home to one blue ribbon winner, one finalist and 7 honorable mentions.
